Autism Training for Public Safety and More!

Bridge the gap between public safety and the special needs community!

Location: The Ambassador Auditorium, 131 South St. John Avenue, Pasadena.


Synopsis: In collaboration with the , a presentation will be offered for all parents, family members or anyone who cares for persons with special needs to help them "bridge the gap" between first responders and our loved ones. This will be a informative 90 minute session where we will explore how to better our relationships with local first responders, how to prepare for an autism emergency and other tips that may help keep our most precious community members safe.

Synopsis: This is a specially designed session for those officers working in the role as a hostage negotiators. The training gets more specific in the area of communication during a crisis, how to negotiate with a person with autism and other specific skills needed.

Time: 0800 - 1700


Synopsis: This is a law enforcement only course designed for Probation Officers. This class was specifically created to cover topics specific to probation and corrections.
